I’m a young rodeo rider from Darkan, WA, competing across steers, junior and novice bulls, as well as breakaway roping. I’m working my way up through the ranks and chasing every opportunity to improve and compete at a higher level.
The Story
I was introduced to the western lifestyle through Edmund Rice College, where my older brothers and I went to school.
I started out learning cattle handling through school before moving into rodeo, following one of my brothers who was riding steers. I began with mutton busting at Mogumber Pub, then progressed onto steers.
Since then, I’ve competed at the National Finals in Tamworth twice and I’m aiming to qualify again in 2027 for junior bulls.
Double R Western has followed my journey since the beginning in 2023, and I’ve always wanted to support a local WA brand while competing over east in the junior PBR.
What’s on the horizon
This season I’m working towards qualifying for the 14–18 steers and junior bulls divisions at the National Finals in Tamworth in 2027. I’m also focused on continuing to improve my roping, getting more involved in team roping, and building a name for myself in the junior PBR.

Rusty joined our family in 2024 and we’ve spent the last rodeo season building a strong partnership while travelling across Western Australia.
Since getting him, I’ve been competing in junior breakaway at rodeos and getting to as many West Coast Team Roping events as I can.
