We’re based in Tansey, Queensland and share a passion for roping, horses and the western lifestyle. Whether it’s team roping, breakaway or just time in the saddle, we’re all about enjoying the ride and building our skills together.
The Story
I’ve always had horses and ridden, but when I met Scott six years ago, I fell in love with roping. From there, it quickly became a huge part of what we do together.
We love Double R Western for the shirts and the range of horse gear. Everything stands out - it’s different, unique and made to actually be used.
What’s on the horizon
Toyah’s goal is to get to a jackpot this year for breakaway roping and just enjoy the experience.
Scott’s goal is to win a buckle - but just as importantly, to enjoy the season along the way.
In the Saddle with Toyah
Horse Power
Scott’s main horse, a 16-year-old Quarter Horse gelding. He used to calf rope on him and now heels off him. He’s a favourite around here (don’t tell Cash).
SOS Radars Cashin Chex
Scott’s up-and-coming 7-year-old roan Quarter Horse gelding. He’s showing a lot of talent and has a beautiful nature.
Diamonds Barbie
Toyah’s 14-year-old Paint mare and go-to girl. She’s one of those horses you can do just about anything on.
We’re lucky to have a team of horses that are all special in their own way and genuinely love what they do.
