I live for the rodeo life - grit, adrenaline and everything that comes with it. Whether it’s barrels, roping or a long haul to the next event, I’m all in every time I step into the arena.

The Story

I’ve been riding since I could walk, but I fell into the rodeo world about 10 years ago and never looked back. Since then I’ve been lucky enough to build a team of incredible horses - one I trained myself and one I brought over from Queensland. There’s just something about being in the arena that makes everything click.

I’m all for supporting Aussie businesses, and Double R just ticks every box. The arena shirts are my absolute favourite - comfortable, stretchy and they look just as good out of the arena as they do in it.

What’s on the horizon

I’d love to win a buckle on my homegrown gelding and I’m pushing to take out a division overall win on my barrel racing mare this season.

Horse Power

Tank is my powerhouse - I’ve had him since he was a baby and gone through the whole journey of breaking and training him. He’s my go-anywhere, do-anything horse and I trust him with everything. From breakaway to undecorating to showing, he does it all.

Lilith is my barrel racing mare - a little red pocket rocket I bought from a friend in NSW. She’s taught me so much and has the biggest heart when it comes to running drums.

I’ve also got my off-the-track Thoroughbred mare, Missy, who’s new to the team and we’re having a lot of fun finding what she loves. And Lozzy, our guard pony, who belonged to my late stepmum - she reminds us every day to slow down and appreciate the little things.

Road Trip Essential

A solid playlist is a must - I’m a metal head cowgirl so the music stays loud. And there’s always a cold can of Coke and a packet of cheeseballs in the ute.

Morning Person or Night Owl?

A bit of both. Up here the heat is no joke, so most riding happens under lights in the evening, but the chores are done early before the day kicks in.
